I started programming when I was (about) 12 and got my first, paid, job when I was 17. Back then I wasn't focused on commercial side of IT - I just wanted to learn and participate in cool projects. I moved from my family town to Gdańsk where I studied Electronics & Telecommunications at Gdańsk University of Technology but eventually I switched to Computer Science. After couple months, in 2014, I decided to open a business and provide my IT related services for people from Europe, mostly Norway. It was a good shot, however it was not possible to study along with leading the business, so I resigned and found a job in the 3rd biggest fintech company, Finastra. I spent there 3 years as a Python programmer in a team specializing in process & test automation. 2019 was a total rollercoaster for me - at the begining of the year I started to work for a startup, NUADU, as Test Automation Engineer and just after 6 months I got an offer from Nordea IT to become an IT Developer in the cool Big Data related team where I develop my programming skills as fast as never before. During my 5+ years commercial career I worked with lot of technologies, including JavaScript and its frameworks (like angular and protractor), Java, Scala and lot more! But the truth is, I was always loyal to Python and I'll always be the one who promote and teach this programming language. Hence I introduce myself as Python Cheerleader. ;)
