A recent University English graduate with experience in essay writing, creative writing, and editing, looking to become a world class writer and editor.
Education
I have a degree in English from Queen's University and I am about to complete a certificate in Public Relations this coming Winter. Throughout my undergraduate degree I perfected my essay writing skills, both research based and theoretical, and I have exceptional editing skills and attention to detail. I love writing and I always look forward to a challenge, whether it's editing a long piece of writing, or composing a creative article.
Career
While completing my undergraduate degree at Queen's University in English Literature, I participated in two paid summer internships at TD Canada Trust, one of the top financial institutions in Canada. With experience on both the Environmental team and the Marketing Innovations team at the bank, I was able to better better define my writing and editing skills as it was my responsibility to create large amounts of content. Some of my responsibilities included updating internal website content, crafting and sending emails and newsletters to over five hundred employees and executives, and creating Powerpoints for all meetings. I also volunteered on the intern social committee and newsletter committee where are had the opportunity to write and edit all of their content.
Extracurricular
Prior to arriving at Queen's University, I was selected to be a member of their competitive varsity cheerleading program. I was a highly active member of the team and in my final year I was elected by my teammates as the captain for the 2015-2016 season. For my latter three years on the team I was responsible for promoting our personal brand and engaging the community through social media platforms and monthly newsletters that I composed and edited.

I am available to work up to 40h/week.
